What Activities Are Available Over the Summer?

Weekly Classes: 4 months – 12 years:

Our short 4-week summer term is a great opportunity to try our weekly classes before signing up for a full term. Each week will be different ensuring that children have fun and learn new skills all summer.

Gymnastics Camps: 4.5 – 6 years

Our 3-hour gymnastic camps allow for more time to be spent in the gym learning and practising skills. Each camp involves a variety of gymnastic skills using all of the equipment in the gym, movies, crafts, games and above all else FUN! A great way to keep your little gymnast busy over the summer break.

Skills Clinics: 6 -12 years

Our 3-hour skills clinics for children aged 6 – 12 years are a brilliant opportunity to spend longer in the gym learning / concentrating on tricky gymnastic skills. Each clinic has a specific focus so whether your little gymnasts want to learn and develop their cartwheels or somersaults then a skills clinic is for them.

The themes for our skills clinics are:

12th August = Bar and Beam

19th August = Back Handsprings

26th August = Somersaults

2nd September = Cartwheels and Round offs

Private Lessons:

Our 30-minute private lessons give children the opportunity to work one on one with an instructor. Sessions are tailored to each individual so your instructor will discuss with you which skills your child wants to work on.

Read Rhyme and Rumble: 4 months – 4.5 years

Our 1-hour read, rhyme and rumble sessions combine the development of cognitive skills such as reading, listening and language with the physical skills of gymnastics. Each session is themed around a different children’s book. The session consists of 15 minutes of songs, nursery rhymes and book reading, followed by a 45-minute structured fun session in the gym.

Bubbnastics: 4.5 – 100 years

Bubbnastics is a 1-hour gymnastics-based exercise session for children and parents to enjoy together. The one-hour session is instructor lead and focuses on basic gymnastics skills that will develop strength, flexibility and fitness levels. No gymnastics experience is necessary, so don’t worry if you have never tried any gymnastics skills before, the only thing you will need is a willingness to get fit and have fun!
